Turmeric Powder

Turmeric, also known as haldi, is a very gentle root that flavors so many Asian dishes. Its strong dye content sends food a beautiful yellow color. Add it to the traditional roast spud or oven chip and you will be surprised at the effect.

Turmeric is a powerful spice originally from India and has been used for over 5,000 years, mainly for its culinary uses but increasingly for its medicinal properties. One of these key medicinal properties is a lovely little compound called Curcumin!
