Fresh Lemon Balm, Fragrant, Calming and Perfect for Tea

Crush a leaf between your fingers and you get a wave of sweet lemon and mint, grown with care at our market garden on the Lockerley Estate in East Tytherley and cut fresh in the morning.

Each bunch is enough for a week of the simplest pleasure there is, a few leaves bruised into a mug of hot water for a bright, gentle tea. It is just as good steeped into a cordial, frozen into ice cubes for jugs of water and spritzes, chopped through strawberries and peaches, or stirred into a yoghurt dressing.
